Is Stakko free?

Yes. The game is free and paid for by a few ads, never during your first games and never after a personal best. A single €1.99 purchase removes them.

Does Stakko work on iPad or on a tablet?

Yes. Stakko runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS or iPadOS 15 or later) and on Android phones and tablets (Android 8.0 or later). On a tablet the board takes the full width of the screen, in portrait.

Can I play without wifi?

Yes, Stakko plays fully offline, daily challenge and duels by code included. No account is required.

How do I play?

Drag the three pieces onto the 8×8 grid. A complete row or column clears. When no piece fits any more, the game ends.

How does the duel work?

A Round is 30 identical pieces for both players. Play, copy your code at the end, send it. Your friend pastes it into Duel, Enter a code, and plays against your ghost.

My friend’s code is rejected.

Check that it starts with STK1- and comes from the same version of the game. An edited code is rejected.

I don’t want ads any more.

Settings, Remove ads: €1.99, a one-off purchase, restorable with the same App Store or Google Play account. It removes the forced ads; the videos offered to continue or double your points stay optional.

How do I change theme?

Tap the Theme chip under the menu logo, or go to Settings, Theme. With no choice made, the theme follows the month.

Why are some themes “upcoming”?

Each seasonal theme opens when its month comes round, then stays playable forever. Classic and Neon are available from the start.

My scores are gone.

They are stored on the device: uninstalling erases them.
