How to play the block puzzle

1. Drag
Three pieces wait below the 8×8 grid. Drag them one by one wherever you like.
2. Clear
Complete a row or a column: it disappears and frees up space. Several at once means more points.
3. Hold on
When no piece fits any more, the board is blocked and the game ends. The whole art is keeping space open.

Stakko plays offline: on the train, on a plane or in bed, the board is always there. No account, no sign-up: open it and play.

The game is free. A few ads pay for it, and a single €1.99 purchase removes the forced ads.

It’s a brain teaser at your own pace: in Classic, there’s no timer. Think, place, clear. Even the duel works without a server, with a simple code to send.

Six game modes, four difficulty levels

Gentle, Normal, Storm or Nightmare: difficulty changes the number of colours and the size of the pieces. Then pick your rule.

A grey row rises every 6 moves.

Three rules, and a game with a voice of its own

Solid lines

Here, colour is more than decoration: clearing a line of a single colour scores far more, and two solid lines in the same move trigger a Prism that doubles the move.

Combo

Every line in a row pushes your combo up. A move without a line doesn’t kill it, it drops one step: big chains are built.

The board sings

Each column is a note: dropping a piece makes it ring, clearing lines plays a rising run. Every theme has its own music.

On iPad and tablets, the board takes the full width

Stakko is built for iPhone, iPad and Android, phones and tablets alike. On a big screen the layout adapts: the 8×8 board spreads across the full width, with the piece shelf and powers right below.

Same game, same modes, same themes as on a phone, in portrait. It needs iOS or iPadOS 15, or Android 8.0, at least.

The duel: same pieces, best score wins

A Round is 30 pieces, the same ones for both players. Against the bot, right away. Against a friend, by sending them a code: they play your exact game and watch your ghost place its moves alongside them.

No server, no account, no cheating: the game is replayed to be validated.

14 themes: one a month, plus two for good

Every month a new theme opens with its own unlock party: tiles, colours and music all change. Once open, it stays playable forever. Classic and Neon are here all year round.
